Something has changed on our terrace: after a good few years, the old furniture has earned its retirement and made way for a new outdoor dining set.
What mattered most to us was keeping the terrace just as cosy as before while adding a little more comfort. With the new large table and comfortable chairs, there is now plenty of room for a leisurely breakfast, a coffee in the afternoon or a long evening outdoors.
The terrace has always been one of our favourite spots at the Schwarzwald-Häusle. You sit right in the greenery, surrounded by trees, while the light falls through the branches differently depending on the time of day. Whenever the weather plays along, life quickly moves outdoors.
We think the new furniture suits the house beautifully and makes the space even more inviting. And of course, we hope our guests will enjoy settling in there just as much as we do.
A small update, then – but one that makes us happy every time we look out at the terrace.
